The study will help gain an insight into management issues and suggesting remedial measures to overcome issues faced by these units. .Published in International Journal of HRM - Done a consultancy Project for A one Chips India P Ltd in Coimbatore a 120 crore sweets and savories manufacturer. A study of the production layout was done and measures were suggested for reorganizing the work layout. The packing line layout was analyzed and methods were suggested to improve productivity by more than 30 %. Also ana alaysis of logistics and supply chain was done and methods and procedures were developed to reduce the cost of transportation and improve efficiency. - Consultancy Project done for M/S Interdeco Ltd Coimbatore , Fabricators of ATMs of Nationalized Banks and interior Decorators. The turnover the firm is around Rs 70 crores. The entire office procedures including tender receipts, quotations, accounting and inventory process was studies for a period of 6 months. The entire project resulted in some interesting findings of financial embezzlements at different levels which were identified. The system of inventory, purchase and payment procedures was streamlined to plug all these loop holes leading to financial embezzlement and the working capital issues were rectified. Also efficient collection mechanisms were put in place for accounts receivables.
