Querima Lovely Agullo

I am Querima Lovely Agullo, 27 years of age. I am a board passer of Medical Laboratory Science. I took the exam last 2016 even though I was busy with my work.

I worked as a Public Health Associate at the Provincial Department of Health last 2015 - 2017. As a Public Health Associate, I Participate in the development of health related programs and strategies, assist in the preparation of projects proposals, health promotions, assist in the collection and validation of health related data, assist in the encoding/updating of data in the established DOH information system and coordinate with different stakeholders for the submission of national health data reports. I always make sure that I can submit all my reports on time even on busy days.

after more than 2 years in service, I was promoted to being a Medical Technologist from 2017. I was assigned at the Regional Office Department of Health. I was too a Program Secretary of Dengue Program.

As a secretary/Medical Technologist, I made sure that all reports that my boss needed was always ready especially during his interviews and deadline of submissions of reports.

After being assigned at the Regional Office, I was transferred here in my current work station, Schistosomiasis Research and Training Center, as a Medical Technologist II.

As a Medical Technologist, I Maintain laboratory facilities, supplies and equipment in good working condition at all time. Maintain and secures records of patients, provides technical assistance related to laboratory procedures, prepares analyses and submit report as required by the DOH Central Office and Regional Office.

I work hard for my position and I always make sure that the tasks given to me are nicely done and submitted on time.

But despite the busy schedule I have at my work, I always make sure that I have a quality time for my family and friends and of course for my self.

I have a part time business for extra income here in our place. I was also a former lead dancer of the Leyte Dance Theater and travelled as a Grand Ambassador at the United States of America, Turkey, Bahrain and Malaysia.
