Compliance and Sustainability Intern,

Sustainable Global Compliance (SGC).
As an intern at Sustainable Global Compliance (SGC), I worked on various programs such as audit, inspection,
advocacy and capacity building. I gained a deep understanding of labor laws in Bangladesh and familiarized
myself with the Bangladesh Labor Law, ILO Labor Law Standards in Bangladesh, and The Environment
Conservation Act 1995 in Bangladesh.
I performed baseline and gap audits as a consultant on behalf of SGC and inspected environmental and social
certifications such as GOTS, OekoTex, OCS, GRS, RCS. Additionally, I organized capacity building programs
for different stakeholders' entities and ensured alignment of Scope Certificates between suppliers, brands and end
customers in respect of product category. I also pointed out Non-Compliances (NC) and suggested Corrective
Action Plans (CAPs) on behalf of SGC for several entities in Dhaka. Furthermore, I followed up on all required
certifications of entities/factories.

My research topic is related to the perception and consumption pattern during COVID-19 and its relationship
with demographic factors. Additionally, my research has been featured in multiple publications, demonstrating
its impact and relevance in the field.
