Priyanka Pal

I am a visual artist and designer with a strong academic background and a passion for creative expression, exhibition design, and cultural storytelling. I hold two Master’s degrees in Visual Arts and Curatorial Studies from NABA, Milan, and in Painting from Visva Bharati University, India, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in History. This academic journey has shaped my ability to think critically, research deeply, and approach creative projects with both conceptual and practical insight.

My creative practice focuses on video art, mixed media, and exhibition design. One of my key works, The Gaze, is a narrative video art project exploring psychological tension and human perception. Another project, Asur, represents my engagement with curatorial practice, where I investigated themes of cultural identity and mythology. I also had the honor of showcasing my work at the All India National Mixed Media Exhibition in Kolkata (2018), which provided me with valuable exposure to presenting art in a professional setting.

Alongside my artistic projects, I have trained in exhibition design and developed skills in visual storytelling, layout, and design thinking. I am proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and Microsoft Office tools, which I use to create digital content, presentations, and visual materials. These tools support my ability to bring ideas to life and communicate them effectively to different audiences.

Although I am at the beginning of my professional journey, I am eager to apply my creativity, organizational skills, and attention to detail to real-world opportunities. I am particularly drawn to roles such as gallery assistant, curatorial intern, or exhibition support, where I can learn from professionals while contributing to the delivery of engaging artistic and cultural experiences.

I value collaboration, adaptability, and continuous learning. Through my academic projects, I learned to work independently while also contributing to group critiques and collective exhibitions, which strengthened my communication and teamwork skills.

My ultimate goal is to connect people with art and culture through thoughtful design, storytelling, and curation. I see every opportunity as a chance to grow as an artist and professional while bringing my dedication, creativity, and enthusiasm to the team I work with.
