Priscilla Tizon

My name is Priscilla Tizon, and I completed my Bachelor’s Degree in 1991 in Business Administration from Holy Angel University in Angeles City, Philippines. I first started managing my own business before I finish my university as a Non-Life Insurance Agent for motor vehicles. I had the inspiration and idea from my father, because he was into buy and sell car business. We are a family of 10, and we all love doing business related to sales. Also, because we are raised and grew up seeing our parents into selling business. Since then, I’ve been mostly involved in establishing effective client relationships. I have developed an understanding of customer service and customer care. I have been in the Non-Life Insurance industry for the past 22 years. One reason I particularly enjoy in this business, and the challenges that go along with it, is the opportunity to connect with people. I have had the opportunity to focused on skills like teamwork, strong communication, connecting with people, and time management. Through those experiences I have learned to interact with a diverse group of people, which has increased my ability in selling and customer care. I became a licensed motor car insurance agent of Liberty Insurance Company in 2002 owned by the family of the late former President of the Philippines Corazon Cojuangco Aquino. Fortunately, I was awarded as the Rookie of the Year in 2003 for the great amount of sales with the goods and services we offered. Then, in the year 2013 there was an unexpected change in the motor car insurance business, which the government would take the privately-owned companies under their control. I then decided to go overseas to work for my family to sustain my children’s education. I applied at IKEA in United Arab Emirates in Abu Dhabi as a Document Controller. While waiting for my application, I tried applying for a tutor job. I am assisting students with homework, projects, test preparation, and other academic tasks. I was able to worked with Western families from Canada, France and New Zealand who became my sponsor up to present. It’s been 9 years since I left home and be away with my family. Now, I have plans of heading home soon to be with my children. I am pleased to share my Resume for the position of an Agent. My passion for selling and dealing with customer service has equipped me to succeed in this position, and I’m excited to submit my application. This position seems like a great opportunity to advance more my skills in building my career and challenging myself. My real strength is my attention to detail. I pride myself on my reputation for following through and meeting deadlines. When I commit to do something, I make sure it gets done, and on time which I would like to contribute to the company’s goal. Also, I pride myself on being detail-oriented, analytical, and driven.
