It is in this school where he gained significant experiences as an educator, which is a result of his fruitful stay in the institution for three school years – from SY- to SY-. As a math teacher of children whose ages range from 9 to 13, he made sure that they would learn from him while having fun. He would incorporate fun classroom games in executing the lessons and would try to present the lessons by way of concretization towards abstraction. He would also allot time to conduct remedial classes to help struggling students catch up and would regularly conduct parent-teacher conferences so that both parties could further assist each other to better the education of the students. A product of MTAP-DepEd-Math Challenge himself, he was a passionate coach who would really find time to prepare the student participants for the contest. At Living Stone International School, he was not only mentored how to construct good test questions; not only was he trained to manage his classes well but he was also molded by the culture that all teachers in the institution are a family. In 2014, he transferred to public schools in Mabalacat City. He was assigned at Duquit High School. In his first school year, he was tasked to handle 4th year Mathematics. Having not taught high school mathematics for three years at that time, his confidence that he still has a command of the subject matter became quite an issue but nevertheless he was able to show how knowledgeable he is on what he teaches.
