As a student with Undergraduate and Honours Degrees in English Literature, I have developed a stronger passion for the written word, constantly drawn to new voices and different ways of thinking. With my Master’s degree in Creative Writing, I have really homed in on the Writing itself, thereby allowing myself to have a keen eye for proofreading and editing. Throughout my time as a student, I have been immersed in literary studies, and have been exposed to many writers and voices.

Similar to your belief in the diversity that needs to be expressed across books and authors, my interest in publishing is to hear/read new voices that we have not been exposed to before. The publishing industry has always been my ultimate career goal due to an entire world of possibilities that stem from this diversity. Therefore, another aspect of my interest in publishing is to live within the pages of books, helping new voices create worlds in them too. The areas of publishing that seem to hold my attention are: Editorial, as I think that working closely with manuscripts is something that I would enjoy, and Literary Agents, as this is an aspect that I find quite interesting.
