I began my professional journey in 2014 as a Front-End Developer. In 2016, I joined a growing digital agency in India that collaborated closely with a U.S.-based partner agency, supporting their creative and technical services. In 2018, we formalized our joint vision to scale by establishing a dedicated white-label agency focused on delivering seamless support to agencies worldwide.
Starting again as a Front-End Developer, I quickly demonstrated a strong ability to learn, adapt, and lead. This led to my promotion as Team Leader of the Front-End Development Department, which had just 5-6 members at the time. Over the years, I worked diligently to build and strengthen the team, which grew to 14 members by 2022.
With continued growth and the formation of a cross-continental leadership team, I was honored to be appointed Director of Development. In this role, I oversee several core areas, including Account and Project Management, the Front-End Development Department, the QA Department, and Non-WordPress Development initiatives. I also focus on optimizing ad-hoc workflows and improving internal processes to enhance operational efficiency.
Transitioning from an individual contributor to a leadership position was a significant milestone. Becoming a Team Leader took about 5-6 months of adjustment, but stepping into the Director of Development role presented an even steeper learning curve. It took nearly a year to fully embrace the strategic responsibilities that came with it. Despite the challenges, I welcomed the opportunity to grow professionally and help shape the direction of the company’s development practices and team culture.
