 Prateek Mohapatra PROJECTS & TRAININGS: Project made: Pega project on Hotel Booking (November 2018 - December 2018) Project brief: SAE chain of hotel is a 60-year-old organisation that provides different staying solutions to its customers. The organisation is planning to build a Hotel Booking system to support its operations. Business objective: Currently the process is done manually. The objective is to automate entire hotel booking process. Actor Customer, Admin, Hotel Manager, Food Manager Role System Architect Concepts/Techniques: Using case life cycle, stages, processes and steps are added for 3 different case types. Report definition is used to fetch list of available hotels. Validations are performed for various properties. Declare Expressions are used to calculate room and food cost. Correspondence (DWA) is used to notify the customers and manager about the confirmation of room and food. Portals and work parties were configured for the actors of the application. Project made: Pega mini project on Library Management System (July 2018) Project brief: ABC library contains different books from different authors. The students enter their personal details and select the books from the given list. Business objective: Currently the process is done manually. The objective is to automate entire book selection process. Actor Student Role System Architect Concepts/Techniques: Using case life cycle, stages, processes and steps are added. Data Pages are added for student and book details. Validations are performed on stages. Using local data source and records, books are added. Declare expression is used to calculate due date. Correspondence rule is used to notify the student about the confirmation of book and is called by adding a utility shape in the flow action. Project made: Pega mini project on Shop For All (July 2018) Project brief: Users can buy products online. They select the products and after selection a confirmation email is sent to them stating “Order will be updated shortly”. Business objective: Informing customer about the product and rest of the process needs to be automated. Actor: Customer Role: System Architect Concepts/Techniques: Case life cycle is used to add stages, processes and steps. Data pages are added for products and Personal information. Product name is displayed as dropdown list, once the customer selects the product, unit price and description is displayed. Work party is created for sending correspondence. Data transform is used to copy shipping address to billing address is the checkbox is selected and total amount is used to calculate the total amount according to the user input. Project made: Cafeteria recharge system (January 2018 - June 2018) The project can be used for managing cafeteria recharges online. The configuration of user interface form was done using materialize CSS and JQUERY. A database table was created in WAMP server and the integration of database with the webpage was done using PHP. Technologies used: HTML, Materialize CSS, JQUERY, PHP, mySQL, WAMP Project made: Website for Clinic Management System (January 2017 - June 2017) A project in HTML using CSS, PHP and WAMP Server where user can Input, edit, and retrieve data from Patient History Database using a login id. Technologies used: Front End: HTML, CSS Back End: PHP, mySQL, WAMP Project made: Solar Mobile Charger (January 2016 - June 2016) A project in field of electronics made using solar panels which convert sunlight to consumable energy to charge the batteries and then used to charge mobiles with it. Technologies used: Solar Panels, Rechargeable Batteries. ACHIEVEMENTS: Academic Cleared the Pega CSSA certification in January 2019. Cleared the Pega CSA certification in July 2018. Won Eminent Projects Award for the project ‘Solar Mobile Charger’ in Integrated Project Competition held at Chitkara University in 2016.
