Worked with Mechanical engineering Design & Development, Vehicle Integration, Vehicle Engineering, Time Management, CFT management, Value engineering practices, Problem Solving, Benchmarking, Coordination, engineering data compilation, design software tools like Creo, UG-NX, CATIA, Solid-Works, AutoCAD, Inventor, Product lifecycle management tools like Wind-chill, Teamcenter Engineering, Microsoft Office tools like Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc. Accountabilities: • Vehicle integration of LCV, MCV & HCV in CVBU, ERC, TML, Pimpri, Pune. • Responsible for Mechanical Product Support Engineering Design using Pro-E (WF 5.0) • Handling DMU of under-body aggregates like fuel system, exhaust system, air intake, propeller shaft, spare wheel etc. • Checking fouling of parts under different articulated conditions in DMU and preparing clearance charts, issue lists of all aggregates in vehicle • Accountable for working with Team-center engineering as PLM platform • Liable for vehicle level assembling of chassis aggregates (fuel, exhaust, brakes, suspension, etc.) in a light commercial vehicle ranging from 5T to 9.6T with various engines & wheelbases options • Managing publishing of all the interfaces of aggregates with respect to vehicle with which the aggregate owner can start the aggregate design • Interacting with aggregate owners to ensure deliverables as per performance and assembly targets and resolving vehicle level assembly issues by conducting design reviews & publishing issue list • Keeping track of aggregates release to build complete DMU and release vehicle configuration in PLM • Handling preparation of process documents, specification sheets, ETRS etc. to support vehicle design • Supporting vehicle build by providing & tracking aggregate indents / drawings and interacting with supplier for various critical design issues along with aggregate owner. Vehicle Integration of Commercial Vehicle Ultra MCV/LCV-Trucks: It is basically a truck (Light Commercial Vehicle) with different tonnages (5 Ton to 9.6 Ton). It has a variety of variants and different wheel bases Ultra MCV/LCV-Buses: It’s a light commercial vehicle of bus (6.5 Ton to 9.6 Ton). It has got different seater and different wheel base. It has two types LP & LPO in front engine bus and LPO for rear engine bus. We got RHD for Indian market and LHD versions for foreign market Attainments • Involvement in Concept design, development & testing to successful launch of Ultra MCV trucks & Buses. • Involvement in prototype development and releases. • Vehicle integration, coordination with CFT and supplier follow-ups. • Converted manual ETRS (Engineering Tracking Record Sheet) preparation to PLM based ETRS report generation by follow-up with PLM developers and getting feedback from designers. • Made Concise formats for DMU preparation which made follow-up with aggregate designers easier. 1) Working on Valmet project of paper machinery machines layout and system parts modelling, detailing and updation using Catia v6 and pdm, plm tools. 2) Working on Illig project in SolidWorks17. Work includes detailing and updation of drawing as per Illig standards. 3) Worked on MWV-USA project in Creo. Work include modelling and detailing of can-collar press machine parts. 4) Worked for Atlas Copco Saltus project in SolidWorks17. Work include modelling, detailing and assembly of sleeve with Socket bits used for fastening nut and bolts at Atlas Copco. 1) Working in bike rack & stroller plastic parts design for Thule Sweden using SolidWorks16. 2) Worked in 3D finish & detailing of for car door panels clamping fixtures for Mercedes-Benzes’ vehicle using UG Nx; for Jaguar car door panel clamping fixtures using CatiaV5, for TMS using Fides 3) Worked onsite at i) “JCB India design center”. Major work was on updating and releasing of excavator parts using UG NX and Teamcenter. ii) “Cummins Emission Solutions” as onsite design engineer in advanced engineering group. Major responsible in concept designing & assembling for future CES products. iii) Worked as onsite engineer for Whirlpool, GTEC for Latin America Region (LAR). Responsible for 3D modeling, 2D creation of sheet metal, plastic parts of different parts used in manufacturing of Dryers and Washers and their releases in Windchill. The Project includes design and development of components like tub, drum-bucket, tub-ring, cabinet, human– machine interface, PCBs, spring suspension, drawer, cover, filter, water inlet, valve, hoses, console etc. Made Checklist according to WP standards & concise tracking system LAR projects for updated tasks and their up- to-date status.
