About

I am a motivated and versatile professional with a strong foundation in education and industry experience, currently transitioning into the field of software testing and quality assurance. My career journey began in academics, where I spent 2 years teaching at a polytechnic college, followed by 2 years in the pharmaceutical industry as a QA Executive. I am now actively pursuing my interest in software testing, supported by relevant training and hands-on practice.

As a lecturer in a polytechnic college, I taught technical subjects and guided students through practical and theoretical learning. This experience not only enhanced my subject knowledge but also strengthened my communication, leadership, and classroom management skills. It also taught me how to explain complex topics clearly and adapt my approach based on individual needs — skills that are now proving valuable in collaborative testing environments.

After my teaching tenure, I worked for 2 years in the pharmaceutical industry, where I was part of a highly regulated, detail-oriented environment. My role involved maintaining strict documentation, adhering to compliance standards, and coordinating with multiple departments — all of which demanded precision, responsibility, and an analytical mindset. These qualities align closely with the demands of a quality assurance role in tech.

Currently, I am volunteering in a parent-toddler session, where I support early childhood activities in a group setting. This experience has further improved my patience, communication, and organizational skills, especially in handling diverse responsibilities and working with families from different backgrounds.

Alongside my volunteer work, I have been actively upskilling in manual and automation testing. I have hands-on experience with tools and technologies such as Java, Selenium, TestNG, Postman, JIRA, MySQL, and JMeter. I’ve been learning through personal projects and online platforms to apply test design techniques, write and execute test cases, automate test scripts, and validate APIs.

My varied background in teaching, pharmaceutical operations, and community volunteering has helped me develop a well-rounded skill set, and I am now eager to start my career in software testing. I bring strong attention to detail, a genuine curiosity to learn, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work in everything I do.
