Academic Project Project1: MOBILE SMS READING SYSTEM FOR BLIND PEOPLE (Mini-project) Language of Implementation: VB.net DESCRIPTION: This project aims to develop an emulator-based system for visually impaired or blind people with which they can read, write & send the SMS. In this project, whatever SMS will be received, it will get converted into speech output using Microsoft speech SDK technology. Since this project is based on an emulator, so there is no question of sending and receiving messages. Instead the dummy messages are going to be used in order to demonstrate the whole work. Project2: NUTRICALOMETER (Major project) Language of Implementation: C#.net Database :MySql DESCRIPTION: This project aims to develop integrated software in order to solve the problem of total calorie and nutrient calculation for a wide range of foodstuffs. This project is helpful to the dieticians working in the area of health sciences. With the help of this software, the entire process of calorie and nutrient calculation in the laboratory can be speeded up to great extent.
