PROJECT DETAILS Title: Monitoring the Parameters of Soil Using Wireless Sensor Network. Description: The first and foremost use of this project is that, it reduces the consumption of water to a great extent. As water scarcity is a main problem in the present scenario, it helps in the automatic supply of water to the crops when needed and also reduces the manual operation of the farmer. Using GSM and ZigBee, the parameters of the soil can be kept in check anytime we need and from anywhere. EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES      Was selected for a General Aptitude Test conducted by National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), held at our college. Completed an internship for the development of Embedded System based project entitled “Hazardous Gas Detection using Wireless Technology”. Participated in Explosive Diffusion Workshop event in a National Level Technical Fest held at B.V. Bhoomaraddi College of Engineering & Technology, Hubli. Has done a mini project on Cell Phone Detector at our college. Held the place of runners in the District Level Table Tennis & Shuttle Badminton competitions in 2007.
