Projects
Female Ventures (Utrecht Team) - Social Media Manager, since April 2020
I am currently in the process of updating the Female Venture’s Instagram feed to
become more interactive with community members, boost the follower count and scout
potential speakers for future events. I provide 24/7 customer service on the platform,
create ‘Stories’ campaigns to promote events and produce monthly analytic reports for
the team. Main communication and organisational tools used: Slack, Trello, Google Docs.
Personal blog and newsletter at POPPYMILLAR.CO – est. J anuary 2020
I am an avid writer and currently in the midst of a personal passion project. I produce a
monthly event review and a fortnightly discussion about art on my blog as well as an
exclusive monthly newsletter for my subscribers. I use Instagram and Google Analytics to
monitor and grow interest. Other tools used: TinyLetter, Craft.
Setting up University of Bath Yoga Society — Social Media Secretary,-
I was an active member of this university society’s initial start-up. I dealt with the
marketing via social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat to
promote it and to build a student following. I organised ticketed events for members to
get to know both the committee and other members during the academic year and
boosted profit targets to organise more events.
