I have worked as a Software Developer for 5 years in many different contexts. I began working as a self-employed developer working with PHP, HTML, CSS and JavaScript creating web applications and websites. I have worked with CakePHP and HTML5 to create interactive websites.

I worked with a rapid application development system for 2 and a half years developing desktop applications with web and mobile integration. These applications served a few different industries including retail, warehousing and supply chain, transport and logistics and training and education. Using web integration we could capture signatures and dispatch details and using mobile devices we could quickly and easily manage stock and picking in a warehouse.

More recently I have started working as a Simulation Analyst using software to create and analyse simulations of real-world systems and processes. Using the data collected through running experiments we can recommend strategies to optimise and increase efficiency of the system
