Hi! I’m Philisiwe Shongwe, a Social Media Manager, Content Creator, Influencer Marketing Specialist, and Founder & Creative Director of PS Creative Connect, a new digital agency based in Johannesburg, South Africa. I help brands grow their online presence by creating engaging content, managing social media accounts, and running influencer marketing campaigns that increase engagement, reach, and brand awareness.

Before founding PS Creative Connect, I gained hands-on experience working on the popular TV show Smoke and Mirrors, where I contributed to digital marketing, content creation, and social media strategy. This experience taught me how to create engaging campaigns that capture audience attention, manage high-profile social media accounts, and adapt content to different platforms and audiences.

As the founder of PS Creative Connect, I lead all aspects of creative direction, from conceptualising campaigns to delivering results-driven content for clients. Even though the company is new, my combined experience in the media industry and social media management allows me to design strategies that resonate with audiences and drive tangible results.

I’m skilled in managing platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn, creating graphics, writing captions, planning content calendars, scheduling posts, and analysing performance metrics to optimise engagement. In influencer marketing, I’ve successfully identified and collaborated with influencers who align with brand goals, helping campaigns achieve measurable impact.

My skills include social media strategy, content creation, influencer marketing, community management, analytics and reporting, and basic graphic/video editing. I’m proficient in tools like Canva, Adobe Photoshop, and social media scheduling platforms, which allows me to efficiently deliver high-quality content on time.
