Philip Bakare

I’m a purpose driven First Class Graduate of Business Education (Accounting) from the University of Lagos, Nigeria. In addition, I am an Associate Chartered Accountant, a Diploma in International Financial Reporting (U.K) holder, a Nigerian Institute of Management holder and a CFA Investment foundation fellow with mastery of Financial Reporting, Analysis, Modelling, Consulting, Management Accounting, Tax, and Auditing. I have apt knowledge of the International Financial Reporting Standards. My inherent interest to learn and develop will greatly influence my desire to reach the apex of my career and industry. Passion and diligence are two traits that I believe most reflect me as an individual. Similarly, strategy and growth are the underlying components that drive my operations and acumen. I am persistently determined, focused and diligent in meeting deadlines. I approach solution based on principles and application of knowledge. I am prepared to function on this job, given the support required to make me excel and meaningfully return the investment.

I'm currently engaged as a Finance Analyst at Verraki Africa, working on various financial workstream and modelling for decision making as well as providing analytical, forecasting reporting and project support. Prior to this, I worked as a Financial Reporting Associate at Adams and Moore Limited, a UK based Accounting firm, where I prepare financials for clients adopting the prevailing accounting standards and financial analysis tools. Before this, I gathered my experience as a Graduate Intern for 6 months at a Tax Firm. Over the years, I’ve gathered these experiences and well prepared to take up related roles.
