The back end was developed with PHP in a Zend Framework using Zend Studio for the IDE. In addition, the code was finally implemented for crossbrowser capability. OptiRate – OptiRate, a highly funded start-up was a web portal for high wealth customers wishing to invest in highly yielding CDs.       Previous programmers were unable to deliver. Coded over 250k Lines of code of medium complexity in 9 months meeting there delivery date. Front end used AngularJS, Less, PHP, Smarty template in the back-end using PHPStorm as the development IDE. Bug rate was less than 1%. Reduced complexity of code, and optimized the code by roughly 45-55% serving thousands of visitors per week. Managed and integrated with Cooperative banks software to find high yield CDs. The back end consisted of user accounts who tracked there investments. The app interfaced with third party identification systems. The front end used react.js for the view layer with FlexBox for more styling and Redux for state management. The microService tier used PHP for back end development using the Laravel Framework and the data/storage/persistence layer was in MySQL.
