I am a native English speaker (Canadian-born) highly experienced in various levels of editing (from proofreading to substantive editing), traditionally specializing in scientific and technical texts. I am able to refine the editing process depending on the target audience.

I have lived in Spain, Portugal, and central America for the past 5 years, and do translation work from French/Portuguese/Spanish/Catalan/English into Spanish/English, for any type of content including scientific and academic texts. I now take advantage of my critical analysis skills and attention to detail by incorporating aspects of review (content enhancement/accuracy) into certain editing projects, when requested by the client.

Finally, I have worked as a copywriter in various fields ranging from physical fitness and nutrition to agricultural systems and sustainability. My familiarity with the research process means that I can quickly adapt to new fields and write meaningful, accurate, and attractive content for any end-goal. As one distinguished example, I schematically re-structured and re-wrote all content for a new updated website for a private research institution in Spain.
