Payal Mahawar

I am a software engineer with 14 years of experience in software development and management. I kicked off my career in 2005 as a software engineer with Infosys, India. I worked mainly on JAVA development projects in India and the USA with different clients including NOKIA (then NAVTEQ), Lexis Nexis, Boston Scientific Corp., Avon Cosmetics and Apple Inc.

As an external consultant with Apple Inc., I led a global team of software engineers to develop the Point of Sales Application for Apple, Brazil.

Further, I worked as the Chief Technology Officer for an India based healthcare startup named OLITO.

In 2018, I decided to work on government school development in India and joined the Fellowship Programme of a non-profit organization named Teach For India. I developed various STEM-based projects and taught Maths, Science and Computers to students in a government school in Pune, India for one year.
