Paula Elena Galeano

As a financial professional with 10 years of experience in banking, finance, and planning I believe my strengths consist in being able to identify all aspects of a problem, use data to understand the underlying reasons why the problem occurs and provide an effective solution supported by a strong technical background and great interpersonal skills.

I was able to prove and enhance this strengths in my previous roles where I have been responsible for forecasting and managing budget, financial reporting, creating new processes, setting controls to improve the predictability of expenditures and ensuring the optimal implementation of the Central Bank regulations by working with different financial institutions.

Having worked in the corporate and government sectors provided me with different perspectives which I incorporate into my analysis while my experience as an assistant professor helped me develop my oral communication, presentation, and mentoring skills.

I feel that my experience will translate well to the finance management department to contribute to the company, growth, and continuation to provide strong results.

My goal is to continuously challenge myself with new learning and growing opportunities. Currently, I am looking for a position that requires critical analysis of information, construction of different business scenarios, a constant search for improvement both through the implementation of new processes and reports and monitoring and control of the business goals.
