I’m passionate about iOS and Android development and enjoy challenging myself to build in either platform natively.
I now find myself with a very particular set of skills, skills I have acquired over my two years at Algonquin College
studying Mobile Application Development and Design and skills I have taught myself.
The skills I have acquired range from full stack development to the development of mobile applications using platforms
such as Cordova. I have built apps using React Native, Redux and Ionic and have examples of work using native
languages such as Java, Kotlin and Swift. Most recently I have worked on the following projects;
SimpleSplit – Application to help divorce couples split the cost of child care, Application is built using React Native
and Redux with Firebase acting as the back end.
OpenDoorsOttawa – Built on both iOS and Android platforms using Swift and Kotlin. Application makes a call to a
REST API which loads building information, users can then either add, edit or delete information on the server. Google
Maps API is used to show building locations using Latitude and Longitude information.
YelpFoodFinder – Application built using Yelp API, which returns JSON data to my react native application via redux.
Global Advantage Consulting Data Engine – Web Application developed suing Flask, HTML, CSS, MongoDB and
AWS.

I’m looking to join an organization where I can continue to grow and develop as a developer, I enjoy the problem
solving aspects of development, researching new ways of solving problems and pushing my knowledge and expertise
to the limit while pushing myself out of my comfort zone. I believe that the best way to learn in this industry.
