Freelance Working on ‘Which University’ a multimedia prospectus featuring national universities. Each university featured had video content, which I had to design and deliver. This would involve taking footage from the client and fulfilling their brief in creating compositions, incorporating clips and graphics to adhere to each university portal UI. Working on multi-channel on-air programming content for various channels such as The History Channel, The Crime & Investigation Channel, Sky Arts and Sky Sports, through to more bespoke projects and platforms. Including the launch video for the ‘Sky magazine’, the rebranding of the Betview Awards and a video for Konnie Huq’s Sky Learning revision tips. These jobs would involve working to a budget, a deadline and delivering the job on time and to the desired brief. They could also entail working alongside a producer, and associated client. Using After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator, Final Cut Pro and relevant Mac hardware and digital broadcast equipment, along with more traditional skills such as storyboarding and scamps. Creative briefs could require various treatments, from working with footage, through to the creation of cartoon elements composited over footage, each brief offering a different challenge to the next. Freelancing has seen me work with a vast range of Global corporations and brands including creative agencies, production companies, and broadcasters over the years. Creating Sizzles and Social content for broadcast and digital platforms, this has ranged from being lead creative for TV title design, through to industry videos and animations for global brands and businesses representing all sectors. Briefs can range from an edit with a comprehensive shot list, through to producing creative animations from just an existing logo to work with. Broadcast highlights have included designing title sequences for shows such as Choccywoccydooda (UKTV), CTRL Freak (London TV), Sealed Bid (C4), and industry videos for the likes of Argos, P&G, Carat, HSBC, Pimco, PwC, Wickes to name a few of the many. Edited the piece in Premiere Pro and animated in After Effects. I was commissioned to design and produce an opening title sequence and programme graphics for this new fly-on-the-wall TV show for TwoFour.
