I have Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor (one of the top programs in the world). My GPA was 3.99/4.0, and I am a United States citizen.
I am extremely opposed to being accountable for the amount of time I spend working, such as with hourly pay or salary pay with a nominal 40 hour/weak expectation.
So I'm looking to do business on a project basis, or a salary basis where my pseudo-employer is naive to, and unconcerned with, the amount of time that i spend working.
I am willing to compromise on my compensation, compared to a traditional job, in order to find such work. I am also willing to do small tasks "for free" for clients that provide sufficient business, in order to reduce the overhead of defining the scope of work.
My mechanical engineering masters coursework was focused on dynamics and controls, and my personal, professional, and academic projects have exposed me to electronics (for example circuit board design and amateur radio license) and programming (for example C/C++, Python, Java, HTML/JavaScript/SQL)
:) Thanks for reaching out
Paul
