I moved from Manchester (UK) and have been working in Ghana for the last four and half years, mainly at British International schools.
My technical expertise includes cross-platform proficiency (Windows, Linux and Mac); fluency in 10 scripting/programming languages (including Python, Swift, C++, Java, and SQL); and advanced knowledge of developer applications, tools, methodologies and best practices (including OOD, client/server architecture and self-test automation).
My professional experience in the field and in education has given me insight into the importance of sound programming practices for an organisation.
I am responsible for full lifecycle development of Python math quiz games and other applications, according to the Cambridge IGCSE standards at Brainy Bairn School from initial requirement gathering to design, coding, testing, documentation and implementation.
I believe my project management, event coordination, communications, design and MS Office operation skills will allow me to successfully produce a project which meets the organisation’s goals on time and within budgetary constraints.
I also have over three years of professional research, writing, design and teaching experience. I have also provided training and support to colleagues on the school management systems known as Ed-admin (intranet).
