I am a passionate and dedicated Registered Nurse currently working at the Animal Bite Treatment Center (ABTC), where I provide specialized care for patients requiring rabies prevention and management. In this role, I assess and treat wounds, administer post-exposure prophylaxis, and educate patients and their families on proper care and preventive measures. I strive to ensure that every patient feels informed, supported, and confident throughout their treatment journey. Working at ABTC has allowed me to develop strong clinical judgment, quick decision-making skills, and a deep sense of empathy, which are essential when managing cases that require both urgent attention and long-term follow-up. I hold a Master of Arts in Nursing, major in Nursing Administration, which has provided me with advanced knowledge in healthcare management, leadership, and organizational efficiency. This academic background allows me to approach nursing from both a clinical and administrative perspective, understanding the importance of system-wide patient care, safety protocols, and quality improvement initiatives. Beyond my responsibilities at ABTC, I serve as an Out-Patient Department (OPD) Nurse in the Surgery and Orthopedics departments, where I assist physicians during minor surgical procedures and provide direct patient care before, during, and after interventions. I ensure strict adherence to sterile techniques, maintain patient comfort, and contribute to procedural efficiency. I am also responsible for maintaining accurate and organized patient records, which is a vital part of the OPD system. Proper documentation allows for continuity of care, effective communication between healthcare professionals, and accurate tracking of patient progress. Balancing these responsibilities has taught me to prioritize tasks effectively, remain detail-oriented, and adapt quickly to dynamic clinical environments.
