I have worked on many events as a live sound engineer, and even as a planner and stage manager with minimal equipment & budget, for example for university parties, private parties and also a small festival called Cultura Viva during the years-. This has given me the ability to judge situations and act efficiently; as a performer myself I never forget the importance of making talent feel comfortable and selecting the best equipment when it is time to record or stage a show, so I am very proud of my ability to adapt to different requirements and apply my social skills to make sure everything runs as smoothly as possible. I have also worked on many projects in my home studio and with friends, as a producer / recording engineer / mixing engineer/ mastering engineer, especially in hip-hop or hip-hop-related genres. The achievements I am most proud of in the field of producing and mixing are two projects: one of them is called Atrapados En La Esencia del Tiempo by alocal Barcelona-based artist named Matick, in which I produced, mixed & and mastered the entire project by myself, where the production was based on a more "classic" hip-hop with some modern or contemporary trap, trip hop and lofi elements; using samples, MIDIs, digital and real instruments, as well as working with live musicians. The other project is Dirty Life & Times by Caper where I produced 4 tracks of the album & mixed these with a team of two other producers/engineers. This mixtape required a much more modern type of hip hop production, but with a heavy rock'n'roll influence. As a result, I recorded multiple guitar melodies, learned how to layer them and give them a highquality sound, and added trap and rock'n'roll-type drums, as well as some live recorded percussion. Because these projects always had a small budget, I have learned to extract the best out of cheap equipment such as the SM57, Rode NT1, Audient ID4 interface and an early 2000s iMac. I have a basic knowledge of how to play the guitar & saxophone, and can read music at a slow pace. You can view some of my "side-gigs" in my behance portfolio. I hope you enjoy it!
