Patrick Mc Tighe

I am fresh into my new career and looking from my first job in the tech world. I taught myself how to build apps, websites, and databases using the MERN stack over the past year and now I’m looking for a great team to contribute to and learn from. I come from a over a decade long career in fine dining where I have been both the student and leader in many situations. Even though software engineering is very different from my previous career a lot of the recipes for success are the same. Such as my ability to bring my personal skills to the table and use them with a team to solve problems bigger than we would be able to complete alone. Another ability I bring with me into my new career is my creative mind. In my fine dining career I was well known by others for creating new dishes or twists on dishes that gave my work an original and fresh feeling. I was also frequently able to use my creativity to see problems from a perspective others had missed.I pride myself on my dedication and ability to learn new things and adapt to new situations.
