1. Automating Lead Management from Email to Monday.com
Client Challenge: A real estate client was overwhelmed by the manual effort involved in
managing inbound leads. Every time a new lead arrived via email, their team had to extract key
information like the client’s name, contact details, property address, asking price, and reason for
selling and then manually enter it into their Monday.com CRM board. This process was
time-consuming, error-prone, and slowing down their ability to respond quickly to potential
sellers.

The client needed a solution that would:
● Automatically extract lead details from structured emails
● Seamlessly populate their Monday.com board with this information
● Be reliable, scalable, and low-maintenance
● Eliminate repetitive admin work, so their team could focus on qualifying and engaging

Solution: Email Parser + Zapier + Smart Filtering
I created a clean and efficient automation pipeline using Zapier, combining the Email Parser,
Filter by Zapier, and Monday.com integrations:
1. Email Parser Setup
● I configured Zapier Email Parser to receive forwarded lead emails
● Trained it to consistently extract structured fields like Name, Email, Phone Number,
Property Address, Price, and Reason for Selling

2. Zapier Filter for Smart Screening
● To avoid sending irrelevant emails through the workflow, I added a "Filter by Zapier"
step
● The filter checked for key identifiers (e.g., subject line keywords, presence of required
fields)
● This ensured only actual lead emails triggered the Monday.com automation —
preventing clutter and misfires

● I set up a final step that pushed the parsed and filtered data into the correct board and
columns in Monday.com
