Project Details
1. REGI-Maintenance of USS
The USS is a testing system which can simulate the testing environment for 2G/2.5G/3G/3.5G/3.75G technologies. The USS comprises of the following components
· Simulation of the entire protocol stack of the BS or Node B
· Interface between the BS and the User Equipment (UE)
· Simulation of Layer1/Physical layer of the UE.
Responsibilities:
Debugging and fixing the failed test case issues.
Integrated testing using ARTS.
Fixing Build errors
Duration: Jan 2012 - Nov 2012
Tools:
Telelogic TTCN
OS:
PC-Windows (KMAP Level 3)
Languages:
TTCN-2
2. Kapsch GSM Project
This is a testing project for GSM for Railways. The GSM/GPRS network can be classified broadly into the NSS and the BSS. The communication between all the elements is through the specified standards and Interfaces. GSM is based on Circuit Switch technology and GPRS is based on the Packet Switch Technology. The project includes designing of test cases to be tested and installed into the NSS / BSS system and verification of its functionality. Installation of software, Up gradation of software, Soak, networking between system and new software releases are done by executing Solutions System Test (SST) cases. The project also handles the Lab readiness activity, which includes the test setup and configuration of the tools to perform the test cases.
Responsibilities:
Involved in Test case development
Involved in Development of test Scripts
Involved in Test execution and Result analysis
Duration: March 2011 - Dec 2011
Tools:
Nethawk (KMAP Level 3)
OS:
Cygwin (KMAP Level 4)
PC-Windows (KMAP Level 3)
Languages:
Perl (KMAP Level 5)
Shell script
3. White Call analysis
This project involves development of White Call analysis Tool. The purpose of the tool is to analyze Call Drop from Fault Notification & TCU_PCM_ater file.Tool should identify the dump of 1315 from the Notification file. There will be several such dumps of 1315 and tool has to analyze all such dumps and find IN serving CEM (Providing Service), Serving TCU CEM, Active SRT from Notification file provided. Also take the 'pcm_ater' value from the 1315 Notification Dump and find TCU Number belonging to that 'pcm_ater' from PCM_Ater file.
Responsibilities:
Involved in tool development
Involved in test case development
Unit testing and system testing
Duration: July 2011 - Aug 2011
Tools:
Clearcase (KMAP Level 3)
OS:
Cygwin (KMAP Level 3)
PC-Windows (KMAP Level 3)
Languages:
Perl (KMAP Level 5)

5. Internship details
Title: “Python programming and Library Management System using Python”.
Description: The main operations in a Library involves organizing the books, issuing books to students, recording the issue and submitting of books and managing the student details. These operations are simplified by using Library Management System software. This product is implemented using Python as programming language and SQLite is used as database backend. Through this software user can add student details, add department, add books, search USN, search books, update information, edit information, borrow and return books using bar code scanner in quick time.
Key-Technologies:
Language : Python
Operating system : Windows 10
Software : Anaconda Navigator (version-3.6.5)
6. MTech Project
Title: “Channel Modelling, Threshold Estimation and Priority Allocation for Open Air Network”.
Description:
Problem Statement
An evaluation of the adapted filter-based spectrum detection procedure in Cognitive Radio using MATLAB simulation.
Objective of the Project
In this project, when implementing an adapted filter method, we can say that as the SNR value increases, the probability of detection increases. By studying the matching filter parameters, we can say that as the number of samples increases, the probability of detection increases and the SNR improves. Therefore, the combined filter is also used to improve SNR in wireless communication. At low SNR, the 1 dB matched filter method is more efficient than the energy detection method. Therefore, the matched filter method provides a higher probability of detection at low SNR values.
Scope of a Project
In this project we use the filter model adapted to detect a PU signal based on the single-user detection model. In the future, we can use the fusion centre concept for the given model used in this document to make the best decision about the presence or absence of a PU in a particular traffic channel.
