Kendriya Vidyalaya Sector-12, Dwarka, New Delhi-110078 2017 GRADE OF PASSING -- EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACTIVITY Part of NSS (National Service Scheme), Involved in Fundraising activities 87.5% Organised a Study circle, (1st Class took part in content with writing contests Distinction) Took part in a national 10 CGPA dance competition, got selected for a National Level Quiz Contest, organised a study circle WORK EXPERIENCE: 1. Social Service- Fundraising, organised a campaign Independently Being a psychology student, I have been able to ingrain the feeling of empathy within myself and have found that the best way to put it through is Social Service. Recently, I Independently organised a successful fundraising campaign for one of the students of my college, who unfortunately witnessed a dreadful incident. Seeing her come from a poor background, without any resources or awareness of knowledge in hand, I decided to take action and be there for her. From learning how to create funds through social media to reaching out to the concerned authorities including NGO’s and NPO’s, that could help. I did everything that was in my power in order to restore a family’s hope and faith in being able to lead a better life. I have been able to raise over 70k within a 2-week time span. I am also a part of NSS (National Service Scheme) Club in our College. Together we wish to help relieve people’s sufferings, improve lives of various communities and aid the poor and helpless. 2. STUDY CIRCLE During 10th and 12th standard, I observed some students having difficulty in studying. I offered them to teach. Apart from my studies, I made sure I get some time off to teach them in school (and invited some to home), whenever I could. I tried my best in clearing their doubts and also requested teachers to pay special attention to these few students. Through these study sessions, I made the concepts a little easy for them to understand and through their own hard work , practice and dedication they saw improvement in their performance. This not only helped them, it also helped me develop a sense of confidence of handling responsibility, managing the time, and improving my own self academically. 3. Affiliate Marketing-Entrepreneurship I have been engaged in Affiliate marketing with more than one companies. During quarantine period, I partnered with Amazon through its Affiliate Marketing Program. Working with Amazon exposed me to the real marketing space out there and helped me learn various marketing strategies that have helped huge companies like google and amazon to reach to their target audience in the most effective way possible. Through this program, I learned the power of social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, etc. in building a community that is particularly interested in our own personalised product or services. I learned how to make an impact through speech, visuals and action. I also got involved in Affiliate marketing with another, nationally recognised company that recently started and has already attracted an audience of over a lakh. It was more about developing Entrepreneurship skills and knowing how life as an entrepreneur feels like. After joining this company, I got access to some valuable entrepreneurship courses that helps people to develop important skills like leadership, public-speaking skills, how to be confident and clear in speech, how to interact with the audience, how to attract people towards our product or service through social media and others. 4. Website Development In the Duration of being enrolled with Amazon Affiliate Program, I also designed, developed and managed an entire website, that was particularly build for marketing purpose. From selecting the domain name of the website to the SEO (Search Engine Optimisation), I implemented all the tasks, independently. I also wrote content for the website, which was particularly aimed at enhancing the audience engagement and increasing the conversion rate. By getting involved in various SEO techniques, I came to know how to practice and implement various strategies such as White hat techniques, On-Page and Off-Page SEO and how to implement them to sky-route the traffic to the website. I tend work better with a team. 5. Others Currently, I am also a part of one of the leading youth organisations called the VIRAL FISION. This platform aims at bridging the gap between India’s most capable youth and the Topmost International brands to get an early exposure of the corporate world out there. I am part of a team that aims at completing fun, interactive and skill-developing tasks that matter and provide an edge over those on the same level as us. Here we get to see and learn how the top brands create content, provide value and engage their audience. By working with a team, I learned important life skills like how to work as a team, cooperation, powerful communication, etc. FUTURE PLANNINGS I believe, Youth has the power to bring change. I wish to have future endeavours that would help me learn, improve and grow in life and help others do the same. Psychology is the field that suits most to my personality and seeing the dire need of professionals in the field of mental health, especially in these hard times, I work towards being in a position to be able to reach out to as many out there as possible and provide them with kindness and compassion, all that I have. Apart from psychology, I am also a little bit inclined towards the Technology and how it can help transform people’s lives. Apart from My life, I wish to impact others. I wish to join AIESEC and be a Global Volunteer for various NGO’s and NPO’s, which would not only help me to get the global exposure, but would give me an opportunity where I would be able to help people transform their lives and create an impact, not only in India, but all across the globe. I look forward to creating a community, that runs on the wheels of kindness, empathy, passion and dedication. I wish to become a Volunteer for as many voices as it would need for people to feel the change. I want to be there when the revolution happens. I want to be the cause of it!
