This involved overseeing a team of five and collaborating with two FMoH departments. I served as an Independent Technical Consultant and Rapporteur for the Health Financing Technical Framework project, where my responsibilities included documenting proceedings and processes aimed at harmonizing and enhancing accountability. This documentation, completed in July 2022, played a pivotal role in facilitating engagement between Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) and the government. Program coordinator/monitoring and evaluation advisor for the "Capacity Building of Selected Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) on the Use of Advocacy and Civic Engagement Strategies to Promote the Implementation of the National Health Act 2014" project. Funded by the British Council through the EU Agent for Citizen-Driven Transformation. My involvement in this project spanned from September 2021 to February 2022, resulting in an increased number of CSOs equipped with the skills and capacity to conduct advocacy for the NHAct at the local, state, and federal levels. The grant amount was N20,198,307.26. I served as the Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Officer for the Strengthening Advocacy and Civic Engagement project, supported by a USAID grant through Chemonics International. My tenure in this role spanned from November 2015 to September 2018, during which the grant amounted to N60,391,521.15, which strengthened CSO capacity to effectively advocate for improved MNCH outcomes. Monitoring & Evaluation Officer for the Nigeria Healthcare Financing Technical Assistance Project, supported by a grant from Results for Development (R4D). My role extended from September 2016, to March 2019. During this period, I played a pivotal role in shaping evidence-based policy decisions in healthcare improvement through comprehensive research, serving as a crucial foundation for subsequent strategic actions. The grant amount for this project was $85,357. I held the position of Program/Monitoring & Evaluation Officer for the Coordinating and Mobilizing Civil Society to COVID-19 Response in Nigeria (COMCiRIN) project, which received funding from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation through Health Systems Consult Limited (HSCL). My tenure in this role extended from June 2020 to April 2021, and it significantly contributed to enhanced civil society organization involvement in the state-level COVID-19 response. The grant for this project amounted to N10,526,000. Monitoring & Evaluation Officer for the Partnership for Child and Family Health (PaCFaH) project funded by Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation through dRPC from November 2015 to September 2017 supporting the design of a holistic result framework and the creation of budget-line for family planning in Nasarawa and Oyo states. Project Officer / State Correspondence Officer for the Support to the Malaria Project (SuNMAP I) funded by the Department for International Development (DfID) through Malaria Consortium from November 2015 to April 2017, supporting community awareness and demand for effective malaria treatment and prevention at the state level by increasing the active involvement of community leaders and stakeholders in malaria prevention and control.  Program & M & E officer for the Advocacy and public enlightenment/awareness for the implementation of 2014 National Health Act funded by IHP+ through Oxfam Germany which facilitated and fast-tracked the implementation of some of the key provisions of the 2014 National Health Act through sustained advocacy, awareness creation and the active participation of key stakeholders from October 2015 to December 2016. The grant for this project amounted to N15,000,000. PROFESSIONAL & TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE Technical Resource Person June 2022 – May 2023 Presidential Health Sector Reform Committee | A Review of Past Health Sector Reforms in Nigeria Played a key role in the development of a comprehensive health sector reform program for Nigeria, leading the review of past health reform programs, gathering input from relevant stakeholders in health, and identifying lessons learned from previous implementations. The research findings were presented at the presidential retreat in November 2022 and was used in developing the final report of the presidential health reform committee in May 2023. This report recommends strategies for the government for shaping next steps toward achieving universal health coverage (UHC) in Nigeria and is currently being used to draft the National Health Reform Bill.  Systematically reviewed literature to inform research questions, demonstrating expertise in critical analysis.  Applied statistical methods to analyze data, yielding valuable insights in the coalition’s thematic areas.  Facilitated the creation of a thorough health sector reform plan for Nigeria, incorporating feedback from stakeholders and lessons learned from the past.  Supported the development of tools, dashboards, guidelines, and knowledge documents that support the implementation of thematic sub-committee activities.
