Oyedele Feyisetan

I studied Biochemistry but my career journey has been both dynamic and purpose-driven. I have research experience in pharmaceutical and molecular biology. I have co-authored two academic papers with and worked across academia, research and product management in the pharmaceutical industry.

In the last few years, I’ve found myself drawn to roles that require structure, coordination, and a strong sense of responsibility. I’ve grown into someone who thrives when I’m supporting systems that help people work better whether it's managing schedules, solving small issues before they become big ones, or just being the go-to person people can rely on.

I’ve also realized I enjoy roles that require sensitivity to people’s needs while keeping things organized and moving forward. I find energy in clarity, knowing what needs to be done and getting it done, sometimes even before it’s asked for.

I transitioned into Human resource initially stepping in as a maternity cover. I discovered a passion for people management and structure, which led to my transition into Human Resources and Administration. I currently work in the HR unit where I coordinate a team of about 50 staff. I’ve handled roles like onboarding, communication, workplace culture, organizational structure, people development, welfare, and staff-related matters. It’s been a rewarding journey, and I’ve received encouraging feedback from both management and colleagues.
