Ouedraogo Harouna

My name is OUEDRAOGO Harouna, a statistical engineer and economist, graduated from the Sub-Regional Institute of Statistics and Applied Economics (ISSEA). My extensive academic training in mathematics, statistics, econometrics, and applied economics, supplemented by scientific preparatory classes at the École Polytechnique de Ouagadougou, has provided me with a solid foundation to meet the demands of the data analyst profession.

During my professional career, I have gained experience in data management, analysis, and visualization. Since June 2022, I have been working as a Data Management Officer at the Statistical Analysis Office for Economic and Social Development (STAT DES). I design digital data collection tools, develop dashboards for monitoring performance indicators, perform statistical data processing, supervise field missions, write reports, and capitalize on study results. I also work on capacity building for stakeholders involved in data collection and analysis.

Previously, I worked at the Hydrocarbon Price Stabilization Fund (CSPH) in Cameroon as a statistical analyst. There, I participated in automating dashboards, building forecasting models, analyzing distributor profitability, quality controlling financial data, and producing reports to guide strategic decisions. This experience allowed me to master the use of specialized tools such as SAGE X3 and TELEDECLARATION, in addition to traditional statistical software.

I have excellent knowledge of data analysis tools such as STATA, SPSS, R, Python, and Power BI, as well as digital collection platforms such as KoBoCollect, ODK Collect, Survey CTO, and CsPro. I have obtained certifications in Python for Data Science, MEAL monitoring and evaluation, and project management. My skills include critical analysis, rigor, autonomy, adaptability, and the ability to work under pressure. I have also demonstrated strong communication and team leadership skills.
