I am linguist by profession. I am a bachelor's degree and master's degree holder in Linguistics and African Languages from the prestigious University of Ibadan.
I have a teaching experience of more than five years. I have taught at different levels of education, ranging from basic level to college levels. I have also helped students prepare for external exams within and outside the country.
In many schools I have taught, I have led the students to victory in different competitions ranging from spelling bee, debate, quiz, essay writing to mention a few.
My teaching philosophy centers around creating an engaging and interactive learning environment that encourages students' participation and promotes language fluency. I am also skilled in utilising various teaching methodologies to cater to different learning styles.
During my time at as a classroom teacher, I successfully designed and implemented lesson plans that integrated real-world applications of language skills, leading to improved student engagement and performance. I am also well-versed in assessing students' progress, providing constructive feedback, and tailoring lessons to address individual learning needs.
My enthusiasm for fostering a love of language extends beyond the classroom. I have organized extracurricular activities such as book clubs, language workshops, and cultural events to further enrich students' language learning experiences.
Currently, I am progressing with taking on some courses that will help in advancing this career.
