Omar Mekky

I've been developing software since I was 13 out of my passion to build stuff for my self and others.
I love solving tangible problems and challenges in general, which is why I am always interested in learning new tech and tools.

I Founded my first company at the age of 17, have been featured in Rails Magazine, won 2nd place in Startup Weekend Cairo and been an active member of the startup community in Egypt since 2008 wether by helping other startups with their MVPs or by helping organise the first and biggest Entrepreneur conference in Egypt; RiseUp Summit.

At the moment I'm a web development mentor on CareerFoundry and working on my own product for live streaming, codetime.tv.
