About

Hi, I’m Oluwasomidotun Victor, a Fullstack Software Engineer passionate about creating products that bridge ideas and impact. I specialize in building reliable, scalable, and user-focused software solutions across web, mobile, and backend systems. This holistic perspective allows me to architect robust systems where performance and an intuitive user experience are paramount. I’m a self-taught engineer who values continuous learning, disciplined problem-solving, and thoughtful design.

My journey into software engineering started at Alusoft Technologies and Ennovate Labs, where I worked as a Python and Mobile Engineering Intern. I built internal tools, automated processes, and developed mobile applications that improved user engagement for startups. These formative internships instilled in me a disciplined approach to development, emphasizing not just the 'how' of coding, but the critical 'why' behind scalable architectural choices. Those early experiences taught me the fundamentals of clean architecture, teamwork, and shipping real products.

Since then, I’ve worked with several agencies and startups including Cronos Lab, Stellar Eminence, and Taltech Ltd. as a contract developer. I’ve built and contributed to projects like Yafpay, Agape Thrift, and CrowdPay, taking ownership of full-stack development — from database design and API implementation to responsive frontends and deployment automation. My focus is always on delivering high-quality, maintainable code that directly translates into measurable business value for my clients and their users. My workflow often involves Django, Express.js, React, Next.js, Flutter, React Native, Docker, and cloud tools like Firebase, AWS, and Appwrite.

I’ve also contributed actively to communities such as Ethereum Nigeria, Base Build Ibadan, and Buidlers Connect Africa, where I’ve collaborated with other developers and participated in hackathons. I was recognized as First Place Winner at the Filecoin Hackathon (Ethereum Nigeria, 2023) and a Bounty Winner at Web3Lagos Hackathon (2024) for developing scalable, user-centric blockchain solutions. These acknowledgments underscore my ability to quickly prototype and deliver innovative, production-ready solutions under pressure.

Beyond client work, I founded the Talent House Project, a non-profit initiative focused on helping young people in rural Nigeria learn digital skills and express their creative potential. The project trained students in animation, 3D design, and software development — an experience that strengthened my belief in technology as a tool for empowerment and community growth.

I’m motivated by opportunities to build meaningful applications that balance solid engineering with great user experience. Whether you need a fast MVP, a full-stack system built from scratch, or help refining an existing codebase, I bring technical depth, reliability, and a builder’s mindset to every project.

If you’re looking for a developer who can adapt, collaborate, and deliver quality software from backend to frontend, I’d love to be part of your next idea.
