I worked as a research assistant at the Medical Microbiology Department, University of Pretoria since 2013 till 2015. My MSc project was on Susceptibility testing of Multidrug Resistant Tuberculosis which was published in an international peer reviewed journal. I have an experience in Molecular pathology methods such as conventional PCR, Real-time PCR, Pulsed-field Gel Electrophoresis, Multi-loci sequence typing and sequencing. I am able to interact with people on all levels due to my contact with different types of people ranging from academics to menial workers.
