I hold a Masters of Arts in Integral Economic Development of Management, complemented by a Bachelors of Science in International Economics and Finance. Directly after completing my master's degree, I had the opportunity to work for a non-profit hospital, Holy Family Hospital Foundation, as a Database and Development Associate in Washington, DC.
During my two years in this role, I took on multiple and significant responsibilities, especially being that the non-profit's full time staff was a total of four people with a fundraising goal of $3.75 million. My roles were responsible for about 15% of the fundraising efforts and I exceeded the goal by over $100,000. Additionally, I cultivated and maintained relationships with over 50 organizations annually, resulting in 15 new partnerships for fundraising events. I oversaw multiple successful fundraising events each year, with at least 100 guests per event, generating around $60,000 per event. While simultaneously being the first point of contact for a donor via phone, I was also responsible for maintaining records of over 10,000 constituents via RENXT Raiser's Edge.
Simultaneously, I collaborated with my former professor on a mission-driven project in Guatemala, where I played a key role in gathering economic data for my master's project. This involved a week-long trip to Guatemala to collect data and train local data collectors. I find great fulfillment in mission-driven work and strive to make a positive impact through my contributions.
My approach to work is characterized by being career-driven and results-oriented. I take pride in creating success for my employer, evident in my achievements at the Holy Family Hospital Foundation. I am passionate about working in collaborative team environments that foster professional and personal growth. I believe in the power of a positive work environment to bring out the best in individuals and contribute to overall success.
