Oleksandr Prokhorenko

I’m a software engineer with hands-on leadership experience, focused on building and operating production-critical software systems.

Over the years, I’ve contributed to and led the development of products used by millions, including systems recognized with industry awards, delivered to both global enterprise clients and early-stage startups.

My primary expertise is Rust for backend development, distributed systems, and P2P, as well as building cross-platform applications with Dart and Flutter, and native applications with Swift.

I’ve worked across multiple domains and layers of the stack, including backend platforms, distributed and asynchronous systems, cross-platform clients, and native mobile applications. This breadth allows me to make architectural decisions with a clear understanding of system boundaries, trade-offs, and long-term maintainability.

Alongside deep hands-on work, I’ve taken on technical leadership responsibilities - setting architectural direction, making long-term design decisions, and raising the technical bar through design reviews and architectural guidance while staying close to the code.
