The team support businesses to dive deeper into their data for improved operations.
One of the project I executed include funnel analysis of a ride-hailing company seeking
to identify user drop-off points within the funnel step, and recommend solutions for funnel
Improvement. Tools utilise included SQL, Excel, and Tableau.
Key results show major drop-off point between sign-up and ride completion step with
50% conversion revealing 50% cancellation, insights revealed most ride request was made
between 8-10am and 4-7pm
Recommendations made included a simple app sign-up process designed to collect user
information suitable for future decision-making; a further investigation into reasons for
ride cancellation using test(promotions) and customer reviews; channeling more
marketing budget on users between age 24 and 45, and IOS/Android users; and lastly
surge pricing should be introduced in rush hour to make more profit.
Other executed project include analysis of A/B testing result to determine whether or not
an e-commerce client should launch a banner on its website based on metrics such as user
conversion rate and total amount spent.
