Olaoluwa Omoduyilemi

I am Olaoluwa Bamidele Omoduyilemi, an educator and IT professional with a passion for technology, teaching, and personal growth. My journey began with a Higher National Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering (specialising in Electrical Power) from Yaba College of Technology, but over the years I have expanded my focus to information technology, programming, and digital education.

I am committed to lifelong learning and professional development. I am a member of the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (U.K.) and the Nigeria Institute of Management, and I have earned certifications that strengthen both my technical and teaching capabilities. These include Cisco Networking Academy’s Data Analytics Essentials, the Python Institute’s Certified Entry-Level Python Programmer, IC3 Global Standard 5 certifications in Computing Fundamentals, Key Applications, and Living Online, as well as an Advanced Diploma in Web & Multimedia from New Horizons. Each of these has deepened my ability to merge technology with practical, real-world applications.

My career has been centred on education and IT training. Since 2016, I have been an instructor at New Horizons Nigeria, where I design curricula for programming, coding, web design, and robotics. I enjoy tailoring lessons that spark curiosity in young learners while also preparing them for Cambridge IGCSE ICT examinations. Alongside this, I have taught Computer Science, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics at A-level and GCSE standards, helping students build both knowledge and confidence. Earlier in my career, I taught subjects such as Computer Studies, Basic Electronics, and Basic Electricity, which gave me a strong foundation in classroom instruction.

Beyond teaching, I also serve as the Young Professionals Forum Representative for the Alimosho chapter, where I manage social media platforms and foster knowledge sharing among peers. These roles have strengthened my leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities, allowing me to contribute meaningfully to both academic and professional communities.

Technically, I am proficient in Python, HTML, CSS, PHP, SQL, Scratch programming, and robotics education. I also have skills in multimedia tools such as CorelDraw, Photoshop, 3D modelling, and animation, as well as app and web development. What excites me most is using these skills to create engaging learning experiences that inspire others to embrace technology.

At my core, I see myself as a lifelong learner, educator, and innovator who thrives at the intersection of technology and education. My goal is to continue contributing to research, IT development, and quality education, while motivating others to unlock their potential through technology.
