Odelon Colarina

I am currently employed as an English Instructor in Leopard English Academy with a number of locations in Osaka. I am handling children and adults classes with various English language skills. I am also working as a part-time Day Care Assistant and English Teacher in Kinder Kids International School providing basic care services and English language education and also handling online English lessons for their online program. Previously, I worked as a Customer Service Representative in a call center serving the American, British and Irish market. I had been in this industry for 11 years interacting and providing service to our clients over the phone and I would say I have developed above average English communication skills over the years. I also had been a preschool teacher teaching basic skills such as colors, shapes, numbers and letter recognition, reading and phonics, simple sentence construction, writing alphabets and numerals and developing social skills.

These work experiences have allowed me to develop sensitivity, tolerance and patience in tutoring and mentoring individuals with the simplest yet effective way they would understand. I always make it a point to plan and modify lessons to accommodate the individual learning needs of the students.
