Norman John Gidney

Learning design under renowned designer Ray Shead, Norman received his Associates degree at Georgia Piedmont College (Dekalb Technical College) in 1995. With his career kicking of just as the internet was taking hold, his experience developed in print, then grew to include the various challenges involved in developing graphics and websites for multiple clients. Returning home to native California, this has lead to a rather diverse career with various titles including designer, senior designer, art director, and editor.

Accepting challenges is something Norman excels at and he decided to go beyond the knowledge given him in school by learning and keeping up to date with the ever-changing landscape of online design. This lead to such opportunities as key designer at Remax Real Estate in Laguna Niguel, CA, Creative Director at MiceChat.com, and now, a successful freelance designer and owner of the popular horror-news site HorrorBuzz.com

Norman maintains a vast amount of skills including expert knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Indesign, and Wordpress. This is not to mention the particular talent he has for handling needs of more demanding clients. With experience in everything from print design (flyers, emails, brochures, company stationary, trade show booth design and large scale graphics,) to online design (websites, email marketing, wordpress,) he is the guy to call.
