Nohid Loiq

My name is Nohid, and I’m a 19-year-old Visual Communication Design student at Cyprus International University. I have a strong passion for creativity, storytelling, and design, and I'm constantly exploring new ways to bring visual ideas to life through both static and dynamic media.

My academic journey in Visual Communication Design has given me a solid foundation in design principles, visual aesthetics, and effective communication strategies. Through various projects and coursework, I’ve developed a versatile skill set that allows me to approach design challenges with creativity, technical knowledge, and attention to detail.

I’m proficient in industry-standard tools such as Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and Canva. Whether it’s designing user interfaces, creating marketing materials, developing branding concepts, or working on print layouts, I enjoy the process of turning ideas into visual solutions that connect with people. I also have experience with CapCut for video editing, which has given me the ability to add motion and rhythm to my creative storytelling.

What I love most about design is its power to influence, inform, and inspire. I see every project as an opportunity to learn something new, experiment with different styles, and push my creative boundaries. I’m particularly interested in branding, digital content creation, and visual storytelling — fields where creativity meets purpose and design has the potential to make a real impact.

Outside of my coursework, I enjoy working on personal design projects and exploring trends in digital media. I’m also a strong believer in collaboration and enjoy working in team environments where ideas are shared and built upon. Whether I'm working solo or in a group, I strive to deliver high-quality work that communicates clearly and looks great.

As I continue to grow as a designer, I’m excited to take on new challenges, learn from real-world experiences, and contribute to meaningful creative projects. I'm open to internships, freelance opportunities, and collaborations where I can apply my skills and gain further insight into the design industry.
