Nitin Dharadhar

Nitin founded Dharadhar Consultants in 1996, building on his track record of meeting or

exceeding client expectations while executing management and IT consulting

engagements. For over twenty years, Nitin has helped organizations become more competitive,

primarily through specific recommendations to management and the appropriate use of

information technology. His experiences include assisting organizations in the pharmaceutical,

financial services, transportation, fast moving consumer goods, software development and

management consulting areas.

While building Dharadhar Consultants, Nitin has engaged in a wide variety of successful

consulting engagements for clients including India's leading news agency, one of India's largest

fast moving consumer goods companies and one of India's best known Information Technology

organizations. While at A. F. Ferguson & Co., which was then a correspondent firm of KPMG in

India, Nitin played a key role in the World Bank funded assignment for management systems of

the Nhava Sheva Port Trust. This was, at that time, the largest Management Consultancy

assignment ever awarded in India. Later, working with Datamatics Limited, Nitin project managed

and co-ordinated the execution of, from scratch, the world's largest public issue (Unit Trust of

India's Mastergain), on behalf of the Registrars. This public issue made its way into the Guinness

Book of World Records.

Nitin has worked with several international organisations and helped some of them formulate their

India strategy. In a few cases, he has also assisted with the implementation of this strategy. In

one case, he helped set up an offshore development centre for a US corporation. This software

product development centre helped the corporation bring to market various state-of-the-art

releases of the product on-time and on-budget. In another case, he assisted a business incubator

in an OECD country with its plan to help incubatee organisations access the Indian market.

Nitin lives with his family at Andheri, Mumbai. He was, for many years, a member of the

prestigious Institute of Management Consultants of India, and a Certified Management

Consultant, which is the international mark of excellence among management consultants. He is

also a Certified Corporate Director from the Institute of Directors. Nitin has a master's

degree from New Jersey Institute of Technology, and is a graduate of India's elite Indian Institute

of Technology in Mumbai.
