Good Customer relations-Time spent as a call center agent and as a student assistant at UCT’s student housing office highlighted the importance of patience and temper control more especially when faced with difficult clients. This coupled with active listening and empathy were tools that I found of great assistance when performing my assigned tasks. Communication and public presentation-As an ACE andin other roles in my academic and work life, I found myself honing the skills of public speech and presentation. Drawing the attention of your audience and leaving them with the desired message came as a challenge and one I found great fulfilment in. I have not mastered the art of public communication but I enjoy the thrill that comes with experiencing and learning it.
