Nilan Nagy

For more than 4 years, I have been playing professional hockey in both North America and Europe. Being a professional athlete has not only allowed me to develop a plethora of good skills and attributes important for all aspects of life, but has also taught and shown me how to deal with many challenging situations such as following detailed schedules and instructions, working under pressure, and learning how to adapt to new situations.

While much of my life has revolved around actually playing hockey, over the years I have gained a wide variety of experience in writing, researching, and marketing. For the past 6 years, during my free time, I have worked as a hockey instructor for young kids. While much of this work rests upon physically instructing and helping the kids, it has also required me to undertake such tasks as developing informational flyers and brochures, writing articles and posts pertaining to important and specific subjects, researching new information and ideas, and developing marketing strategies to connect with clients/customers.

Although my passion is hockey (and more so sports in general), I am also knowledgeable and can write about a wide variety of topics such as health, fitness, travel, and finances. 

Along with these skills, I also have good customer service and marketing experience as I previously worked as a Sales Associate for KoSports Hockey. Working as a Sales Associate for a large hockey equipment retailer has allowed me to not only understand the importance of explaining product information and details clearly to customers, but to also know how to connect with them and give them exactly what they are looking for.

In addition to these attributes and services listed above, I also have a knack for proofreading as I like looking into the small details of things. I am very meticulous when it comes to making sure everything is done correctly and portrayed in a manner in which it can be understood. So if there is any proofreading or editing that needs to be done, I can definitely deliver.
