Gesondheidswetenskappe, an Afrikaans explanatory dictionary for the health sciences
with English translations, in TshwaneLex, from Word files sent by the author.
- Inserted the “part of speech” on the English side (letters A and B) of the online version of
the Afrikaans–Engels/English–Afrikaans Dictionary, a comprehensive bilingual dictionary.
- Corrected faulty links in the cross-referencing system of the online version of The
essential companion for writers and editors.

Gaming has always been a way
for me to blow of some steam
and relax, but also to learn
foreign languages, improve my
cognitive abilities, and
appreciate the moment.
Volunteering, be that blood
donation or helping during
floods in Serbia in 2014, has
always been a habit which
contributed to me growing as a
person.
Learning new abilities from the
scratch is important as well. Not
only does it expand the
capacity of understanding
different aspects of one
phenomenon, but also
contributes to the increase in
value in the job market.
Reading, similar to music,
makes the everyday routine
much nicer. It also activates the
"little grey cells".
Being in good shape has both
intersocial and personal
benefits. It also helps to clear
one's mind.
Listening to music is quite
relaxing and liberating. It also
helps all the creative processes
currently underway in our
brains.
Coding gives me insight into an
area which was, up until
recently, completely
undiscovered for me. It shows
me the importance of a
forward-thinking attitude.
I enjoy playing different types of
team sports. It improves your
fitness and also social skills,
demanding a high level of team
work.
Travelling is at the same time
exciting and eye-opening. It can
really broaden one's horizons.
It is a combination of a healthy
and pragmatic habit. Cycling
improves my stamina and
saves up expenses regarding
public transportation.
