Journey so far: 9 years in content/copy domain

Over the years, I have created captions, ad copy, blogs, website content, B2B and B2C copy for social media platforms and PR articles among others. Persuasive brevity is my strong point. I can also draft engaging long-form content (landing pages, white papers etc.) that can make your brand communications stand out.

I accept that raw ideas need polishing and was praised for my adaptability and resilience - when it comes to criticism and having to adjust my copy accordingly. I was also commended for my cucumber-cool attitude, stress handling ability and ideas (mad as some of them were).

Engaging in creative banters with graphic artists and other digital marketers so that the text and visuals make a great match is of course part of my game.

Highlights of my experience Content & Marketing Communications

·        Creating editorial calendar and content plan and delegating tasks accordingly to freelance writers, in-house writers, inbound marketers and SEO professionals

Most recently co-managing and contributing greatly to a Fintech publication for my previous company, Cleartax in India (I thank this stint for my WordPress training and basic HTML knowledge)

·        Leveraging expertise in APA and MLA writing styles for all forms of B2B communications – to develop in-house stylebook in tandem with the brand communication guidelines

·        Utilizing Google Analytics and various other metrics to track and gauge website traffic, identifying gaps and determining best ways to maximize brand visibility

Life outside work

I am a fitness freak in every sense. A 20-minute jog coupled with a spot of cycling in the morning, volunteering during weekends, frequent unplanned trips, TED Talks and books, help me keep my body, mind and conscience fit. Health is wealth, after all.
